Godings Beach House offers up to ten guests a chic yet private retreat on one of Barbados’ best stretches of beach – a beach which is protected and offers the opportunity to witness newly hatched turtles making their way to the sea!
The house combines modern comforts with luxury living; think bespoke furniture, exquisite artwork, designer touches and a stylish modern kitchen. For film fans there is access to every movie on iTunes and Netflix, streamed directly from your iPad or iPhone to a state-of-the-art cinema screen, while Sonos is available in all main rooms for music streaming.
There is a team of professional staff on hand to tend to guests’ every need including a butler, chef, housekeeper, gardener and security guard. They will tailor-make each guest stay and can arrange experiences ranging from sunrise yoga sessions and fresh juices overlooking the Caribbean Sea, to stand up paddle boarding adventures or perhaps a seafood BBQ party around the pool. Every last detail has been thought of to ensure that a stay at Godings is both relaxing and indulgent.
The house itself occupies 13,500 square feet and is built from a combination of local coral stone, timbers and shingles. The sleek and contemporary design is the work of local award-winning architects Gillespie & Steel and uses some of the island’s most beautiful materials, connecting it closely with its coastal position through the clever layout of the interiors and grounds.
