75 Clifton, 4th Beach
Clifton, Cape Town
6 guests · 3 bedrooms · 3 ensuites
Gloriously private, yet just steps from one of South Africa’s most fashionable beaches, 75, 4th Beach, is a perfectly positioned beach house to access everything Cape Town has to offer including brilliant outdoor activities, from fishing to wine tours, and the multiple attractions of the central city. This three-bedroom property offers photogenic proof of the old maxim: Location, Location, Location…
-
…As well as offering memorable views, 4th has the calmest sea of any of Clifton’s glamorous beaches, making it perfect for swimming – or perhaps just a cold-water plunge. You’re also in pole position for hiking and cycling around the peaks of the spectacular Cape Peninsula.
It’s only a short hop to world-class restaurants, acclaimed galleries and historical attractions, with several renowned vineyards within an easy drive.
With its open-plan kitchen, dining, living area and floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto a spectacular glass-walled deck, the house offers a wonderfully breezy coastal vibe. The braai and al fresco beach deck dining table are summer essentials, while underfloor heating creates a cosy bolthole for Cape Town’s low-crowd, high-value winters.
The house itself is both comfortable and superbly stylish, thanks to the addition of African baskets, rugs and lamps and antique stools, plus carefully curated works by respected local artists.
The three bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom, sleep up to six guests and all have access to the outside. The open-plan kitchen, dining, living area and floor-to-ceiling windows open onto a spectacular glass-walled deck with gorgeous views.
Surf lessons, yoga classes or a private chef can all be booked by the house manager who is on hand to help.
Settle in, take a deep breath of fresh Southern Atlantic air and savour the sensational setting and sublime sunsets.
